A Letter To Prague, 2-20-12

Dear Prague,

I just wanted to mention how much I love you, and in particular, one of your citizens.
I’ve been there twice now, and can’t help but embrace the feeling that I want to live there permanently. You are so beautiful, rustic, nuanced, authentic, and sophisticated, that I find myself dreaming about you in all hours of the day and night.
You’ve welcomed my music with open arms, and seem to inherently understand the things I would want you to. Your support and encouragement has added an affirming compliment to my perspective.
You harbor the famous “Charles Bridge”, which has made an appearance in one of my new songs that I was lucky enough to recently share with your natives–and was subsequently accepted with the type of delicacy I could only hope for.
All in all, thank you for what you’ve supplied me with up to this moment, and I promise to do all I can to always come back to you with as much love as possible. You’ve illuminated a spot in my soul which was solely reserved for this type of occurrence.
Sincerely,
Ryan Bisio

Live at Jazz Dock: Prague, Cz 2-16-12

Hello February :)

1-9-12

‎”Sometimes you know things have to change, are going to change, but you can only feel it. Little things foreshadow what’s coming, but you may not recognize them. But then something immediate happens and you’re in another world, you jump into the unknown, have an instinctive understanding of it–you’re set free.
You don’t need to ask questions and you already know the score. It seems like when it happens, it happens fast, like magic, but it’s really not like that. It’s more deliberate. It’s a reflective thing. Somebody holds the mirror up, unlocks the door–something jerks it open and you’re shoved in and your head has to go into a different place. Sometimes it takes a certain somebody to make you realize it.”–Bob Dylan
