Bio

Singer-songwriter, Ryan Bisio, dubbed a “dragon of originality” by Erhman Hall, is often known for his finger picking guitar style, poetic lyrics, deeply affecting vocal tone, and his witty on stage banter.  The Arcata, California native’s strong passion and dedication for his music shines through his songs, often unfolding colored tales in his melodies.  Bisio brings together a phenomenal blend of blues, folk, rock, and pop.

Bisio has shared the stage with Grammy Award-Winner Shelby Lynne, Richard Julian, Bhi Bhiman, Lauren Shera, Truth & Salvage Co., Forrest Day, and Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top 100 Guitarists of All Time, Greg Ginn.

Bisio is set to roll out his 5th studio release Harbor Longing, mastered by Grammy Award winning engineer Gavin Lurssen.  Additionally, Harbor Longing will include a small book of his writings, as well as photography and other art in the limited edition press.  The physical release date for Harbor Longing is pending. Ryan Bisio received his B.A. in contemporary music from California State University, Monterey Bay as a scholarship basketball player.  He’s currently a professional basketball instructor in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has also coached American Junior College and high school basketball.
